MERIDIAN SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 505

RESOLUTION NO. 04-24

A Resolution authorizing the commitment of funds in the General Fund

WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Public Instruction permits the commitment of funds to be
used for specific purposes, and

WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Meridian School District has a math curriculum
adoption taking place in the 2024/2025 school year, and

WHEREAS, it has been determined that the curriculum department will be carrying over
$50,000 from the 2023/24 school year to help cover the math curriculum adoption,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of Meridian School District No.
505, Whatcom County Washington authorizes the commitment of $50,000 of the General Fund

for the purpose of funding the math curriculum adoption.

APPROVED by the Board of Directors of Meridian School District No. 505 at a regularly
scheduled meeting held May 22, 2024.
