Addison's creativity shines in multiple ways. One of the first things that comes to mind is her ability to bea creative problem solver. It doesn't matter what it is, she just loves to help, and her ideas are often something we did not think of. Addison is a creative thinker, which to me, means she is thinking beyond what is right in front of her. She connects classroom learning to real life issues and experiences. Her inquisitive nature drives her to ask questions and wonder about things, but she does not stop there. Addison will come up with a creative and possible answer to her question. Addison's creativity with her artwork is evident and she takes special care in completing work she is proud of. Thank you Addison for sharing your creativity with us! Mis. Chis" We have many compassionate students at Gold Bar Elementary. When | heard we were able to recognize a student during the school board meeting, | immediately thought of Salem Brown. Salem is one of our 2nd graders and he is one of the most compassionate students | have worked with. Salem notices when others are having a hard time. He doesn't hesitate to do what he can to help. He will share, give something he has to others if it will bring a smile to their face, and is always willing to help. He includes everyone. Salem quietly helps others or fixes a problem whenever he can. Not only do | notice this, but so do his classmates. Everyone wants to spend time with Salem, sit near him, and work with him. He exudes kindness and compassion. Thank you Salem for being you- for showing others kindness, compassion and understanding. You are noticed, appreciated and cared for - just as you care for others.
