Mr. Dan Chaplik

Sultan School District
514 4th Street

Sultan, WA 98294-9474

Dear Mr. Chaplik,

Attached is an updated Interlocal Agreement that will allow us to continue to serve
students from your district for the years 2025-2030. Our previous Interlocal Agleient
with your district was for the school years occurring between 2020-2025.

Please sign and return one to Dneyaa Alameedee using the pre-addressed envelope
enclosed, or if you prefer, you may scan it and e-mail it to
dheyaa.alameedee@Iwtech.edu.

We have served students from your district for many years through statutory authority
allowing technical colleges to provide occupational and academic programs for high
school students, and value the partnership. We provide these services through our
accredited technical high school, Lake Washington Technical Academy; the first
program approved by OSPI under HB1418 Open Doors Dropout Reengagement. Our
primary purpose is to provide educational options for students age sixteen to twenty-one
who have dropped out of high school or are not accumulating sufficient credits to
reasonably complete a high school diploma in a public school before the age of twenty-
one.

Student enrollments, authorized through our mutual Interlocal Agreement, will be
reported directly by the college to the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Should you or any member of your staff require any information about the Lake
Washington Technical Academy operation, please feel free to contact Dr. Amy Morrison
at (425) 739-8200 or An Chu, Dean of High School Programs at (425)739-8336.

Sincerely,

Dr. Amy Morrison
President
