CALL TO ORDER The special meeting of the Bremerton School District Board of Directors was called to order by President Rotter at 11:00 a.m. The meeting was held in the Boardroom located at Bremerton School District at 134 Marion Ave., Bremerton, WA 98312. Members Present: Ms. Alyson L Rotter, President Mr. John P Hurley, Vice President Ms. Jonee M Dubos Ms. Carolynn M Perkins Dr. Karen J Bolton Administrators Present: Dr. James Crawford, Superintendent Karen Bevers, Director of Communications 2. DISCUSSION/ACTION Discussion: Administrative Leave Director Bolton made a motion to place Dr. James Crawford on paid administrative leave pending the results of an investigation. The motion carried unanimously. Discussion: Interim Appointment Director Hurley made a motion to appoint Dr. Garth Steedman as interim Superintendent during Dr. Crawford’s administrative leave. The motion carried unanimously. Discussion: Public Statement Director Bolton made a motion for President Alyson Rotter to release a public statement on behalf of the board of directors. The motion carried unanimously. 3. ADJOURNMENT At 11:02 a.m. Director Perkins made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
