- Bremerton School District s44T fh TO: Bremerton School District Board of Directors THROUGH: Dr. James Crawford, Superintendent FROM: Dr. Garth Steedman, Assistant Superintendent of Finance, Operations, & Human Resources SUBJECT: Fora Landscape Architects - Change Order #5 DATE: July 11, 2024 ACTION: Recommending that the Bremerton School District (BSD) Board of Directors approve a $40,000 contract increase to the Fora Landscape Architects’ contract for additional services performed on the Mountain View Middle School Multi-Use Sport Complex project. BACKGROUND: On July 14, 2022 the board awarded a contract to Fora Landscape Architects (formerly Weisman Design Group Inc, PS) in the amount of $796,742.00 for design and construction administration services on the Mountain View Middle School Multi-Use Sports Complex project. Several contract amendments have been approved since the initial award bringing the contract total to $827,224.00. BENEFIT TO THE DISTRICT: Approval of this project will allow payment for additional services because of unexpected project costs due to revisions and corrective work. COST TO THE DISTRICT: The contract modification will add $40,000 to the current project cost of $827,224.00 for a total contract amount of $867,224.00.
