DATE: July 11, 2024 ACTION: Recommend final acceptance by the Bremerton School District (BSD) Board of Directors of the Crownhill boiler upgrades project as performed by NW Boiler, Inc. BACKGROUND: On April 11, 2024 the Board approved a contract with NW Boiler, Inc in the amount of $79,653.00 plus Washington State sales tax. The project involved the replacement of three water heaters with new boiler units at Crownhill Elementary School. BENEFIT TO THE DISTRICT: The Board’s approval of final acceptance will allow a Notice of Completion to be filed and subsequent final project close-out actions to occur. COST TO THE DISTRICT: Total cost of the Crownhill boiler project are as follows: Original NW Boiler, Inc contract 5 79,653.00 Washington State Sales Tax S 7328.08 Total Project Cost S 86,981.08 Bremerton School District 134 Marian Ave N Bremerton, WA 98312
