School Board Meeting
Minutes
via Zoom/Phone Conference
7:00 P.M.
1. Call to Order, Welcome, Pledge of Allegiance and Roll Call
Meeting called to order at 7:02 P.M. Board members in attendance were Steve Jilk, Brian Johnson, Kelli Kettels, CJ
Costanti, and David Vis.
2. Information from the Audience
Board President, Steve Jilk shared comments provided by community members.
3. Board Work Session
• Re-Opening School 2020-2021 Planning and Update
Jim Frey and school principals provided an update on the learning option plans at the elementary and
secondary levels. Principals shared how communication will continue with families about the learning
options, schedules, and device distribution.
4. Action Items
• Resolution No. 11-20 – District Re-Opening Plan
The Board reviewed the Resolution and OSPI Re-Opening Plan template to submit to OSPI.
Brian Johnson motioned to approve Resolution No. 09-20 seconded by David Vis. Motion carried by voice vote.
5. Adjourn Meeting
Meeting adjourned at 8:54 P.M.
